LUSITANO RETREAT

A notebook for your own exploration

The field desk.

Turn a few ideas into useful questions, rough measurements and a brief you can take into the field.

This notebook is saved only in this browser on this device when storage is available. It does not send information to us, create a booking, update the project’s shared records or establish that a property is suitable.

Checking local notebook storage…

01 / Your assessment

Before drawing the plan.

These are your own notes, not verified project statuses or a formal feasibility assessment. “Evidence noted” means you have recorded something to review; it is not official approval.

02 / A rough floor-space estimate

Room to make things.

Enter the footprint of benches, storage units or equipment. The allowance adds a rough amount of space around the combined footprints; it does not test a layout, clearances, structural loads or compliance.

Workshop items — measurements in metres
ItemLength (m)Width (m)Quantity
Enter a complete item row to estimate space.

Item area = length × width × quantity. Rough total = item area × (1 + allowance ÷ 100). Blank measurements stay unknown.

03 / Start with a manageable patch

A small garden on paper.

Estimate the area of identical rectangular beds and a rough footprint including paths. This is an area calculation, not a planting, accessibility or harvest prediction.

Add the bed dimensions and quantity to estimate area.

Growing area = length × width × number of beds. Rough garden footprint = growing area × (1 + path allowance ÷ 100). Actual path layout may require a different area.

04 / One useful next step

Your mission brief.

Keep the next action small and specific. These fields begin blank; they are your personal notebook, rather than a task assigned to the project.

Exported files contain your entered notes. Keep them somewhere appropriate. Clearing this browser’s site data or using another browser can remove or separate your notebook. Import replaces the current notebook only after confirmation.
