LUSITANO RETREAT — Mölkky
Finland; modern branded Finnish throwing game.
Players: 2 or more individual players
CHOSEN VERSION: Manufacturer individual-player rules, with a chosen line within its stated 3–4 m range.

EQUIPMENT
1. 12 pins numbered 1–12
2. One throwing skittle and score sheet

SETUP
1. Pack the pins as shown: front 1,2; then 3,10,4; then 5,11,12,6; rear 7,9,8.
2. Choose a 3–4 m throwing line and draw lots for the first-game order.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Throw the skittle underarm once per turn; keep the same player order.
2. Count only pins fully down: a pin leaning on another pin or the throwing skittle does not count.
3. Stand fallen pins exactly where they stopped, not back in the starting cluster.
4. Record the score and consecutive misses, then let the next player throw.

SCORING
1. Exactly one fallen pin: score its printed number.
2. Two or more fallen pins: score the number of fallen pins, not their printed sum.
3. Exceed 50: reset your total to 25. Three consecutive scoreless turns eliminate that player.

WINNING: First to exactly 50 wins.

AT THE RETREAT
Leave room for pins to spread across successive turns.
Try a practice round before scoring; changing distance during a scored game needs every player’s agreement.
