LUSITANO RETREAT — P33 BUILD NOTES Use only with the main pallet guide and material intake checks. Illustrative dimensions are not a structural rating. MEASUREMENTS 1. Survey actual bins including open lid, handles and wheel movement. 2. Panel sizes, board spacing, post positions and access opening come from the reviewed site drawing; no universal bin-bay dimensions. CUT LIST / COMPONENTS 1. Decorative boards cut to the approved panel schedule, with numbered removable access panels. 2. Independent specified frame and site-appropriate anchorage. 3. New specified exterior fasteners; actual collection bins remain removable without lifting over rails. TOOLS 1. Tape, pencil and square; clamps and a flat bench. 2. Suitable saw, drill/driver and pilot bits matched to the chosen fasteners. 3. Sander with effective extraction; metal detector before machining accepted boards. ASSEMBLY 1. Position the actual bins on the intended ground and measure each with its lid fully open and handles accessible. Walk a full bin along the collection route, noting gate width, slopes and turning space; draw those clearances before choosing screen dimensions. 2. Have the screen frame, wind exposure, foundations or anchorage and required fire separation assessed for the site. Agree a front opening that does not trap bins and a panel arrangement that allows cleaning; do not use this screen concept around gas or charging equipment. 3. Mark the approved post positions and opening on the ground and compare them with services and drainage. Confirm that bins can leave on their wheels with no lifting over a front rail; resolve differences with the design before any ground work or framing begins. 4. Measure accepted board widths and produce a cutting schedule for each approved panel. Number boards from one corner, mark the specified gaps and locate every joint over its designed support; reserve removable sections wherever inspection or cleaning access is required. 5. Prepare the decorative boards on the bench, removing damaged sections and scanning before cutting. Make one panel dry fit to check the actual gaps, end clearances and selected exterior fasteners; maintain the reviewed ventilation pattern rather than filling every opening for appearance. 6. Have the specified independent frame installed and inspected before attaching decorative facing. Fix each board at the designed support points, keeping fixings clear of bin contact areas; record concealed frame connections before the skin prevents a useful inspection photograph. 7. Fit any removable panel hardware as detailed and label the release points on the inside. Return each empty bin, open its lid fully and wheel it out through the actual opening; then check the operating route under normal collection conditions. 8. Clean the space and verify that rainwater can leave without pooling around boards or bins. Record the frame, removable panels and collection route, then inspect after wind and routine cleaning; stop using a loose panel before it can fall into the access path. FINISH AND CARE 1. Exterior finish and new connections specified for exposure. 2. Maintain ventilation and drainage; keep wood out of accumulated wet waste. COMPLETION CHECKS 1. Open lids and bin route work without lifting or dismantling. 2. Independent frame checks complete; access and fire separation maintained.
