LUSITANO RETREAT — P19 BUILD NOTES Use only with the main pallet guide and material intake checks. Illustrative dimensions are not a structural rating. MEASUREMENTS 1. Record actual worktop mass, overall dimensions and appliance/service openings. 2. Facing modules follow measured bays of the separately designed supporting frame. CUT LIST / COMPONENTS 1. Independently specified frame and worktop installation components. 2. Accepted decorative boards and cleats, cut to each removable module. 3. Selected removable panel fittings outside food-contact and appliance-clearance zones. TOOLS 1. Tape measure, pencil and square; clamps and a stable cutting support 2. Metal detector, suitable saw and drill with timber bits; dust extraction and PPE appropriate to the operation 3. Sanding block, straightedge and the selected connection manufacturer’s installation tools ASSEMBLY 1. Obtain the actual worktop weight and appliance information, then have the supporting frame and site support specified. Keep the reclaimed-board schedule separate so decorative panels cannot be mistaken for stone-bearing members. 2. After the independent frame is installed and checked, measure each open bay. Draw the removable fronts around valves, sockets, access doors and appliance cooling paths, retaining all specified clearances. 3. Sort sound boards by thickness and mark each facing module on a flat bench. Cut boards to the measured front dimensions, avoiding damaged ends and keeping reclaimed timber outside food preparation contact. 4. Attach the boards to rear cleats with connections suited to the actual timber thickness. Dry-fit against the frame and check that the module does not press against the worktop or transfer its weight. 5. Fit the selected removable panel clips or screw-fixed tabs to the specified attachment zones on the frame. Keep them accessible and avoid drilling load-bearing or appliance members without the frame designer’s detail. 6. Install one panel and practise removing it with the worktop in place. Confirm that isolation points, filters, drains and required inspection areas remain reachable without lifting stone or disconnecting services. 7. Complete the remaining facing modules and treat the timber for its actual exposure. Keep cooking equipment, hot components and electrical or gas installation work within their separate installation specifications. 8. Record the frame acceptance and worktop installation separately from the cosmetic finish. Inspect every panel for loose edges and trapped moisture, then label service-access panels so future maintenance does not damage the enclosure. FINISH AND CARE 1. Sand hand-contact surfaces and ease exposed edges; retain readable batch identification on a concealed face. 2. Use a finish selected for the actual exposure, following its preparation, coat and cure instructions; treat cut ends as specified. COMPLETION CHECKS 1. Stone and appliances are supported entirely by the separately specified structure. 2. Food-contact, heat and service requirements remain separate from decorative timber work.
